Invoices are due within 5 days of receipt. If you have any questions regarding your invoice, we urge you to contact the office immediately to avoid late fees, etc. (See "Fees" section below).
Contacting us sooner rather than later helps resolve any issues/questions you might have.
A late fee of 5% (or a minimum charge of $15.00) will apply after 30 days from the invoice date and every subsequent 14 days thereafter. Accounts that are 90+ days overdue will be turned over to collections or a mechanics lien will be filed.
A credit card processing fee of 3% of the total amount due will apply for card payments of $1,000.00 and greater. This applies to any plastic card, debit or credit.
If cancellation is necessary, we require a minimum of 24 hours notice (more when possible) for any scheduled 8AM appointment. If you do need to cancel, please call or email as soon as possible within business hours. Messages received after 4:30pm are considered the next business day. Cancellations within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment may be subject to an $85 cancellation fee.
If you have a scheduled 8AM appointment, we will contact you the previous business day to confirm your appointment. If the electrician is unable to make contact with you, whether in person or on the phone within 30 minutes of arriving at your home or business, we will consider this a missed appointment and charge an $85 missed appointment fee.
There is a $25 processing fee for any returned check, in addition to any applicable bank fees.
Nordeast Electric, Inc. guarantees our workmanship for 1 year (365 days) from date of service. This includes any parts and/or materials installed by Nordeast Electric. If any material(s) supplied by Nordeast Electric fail within 365 days from installation, we will make the necessary repairs or replace parts including fixtures, outlets, switches or breakers as needed.
